BOO! It is that time of year! Halloween Special time of year!
If you grew up in a home with even a vague affiliation to Christianity, you have probably heard, participated or started some discussions as to the potential evils lurking in the night during Halloween. This is the reason we decided to do a Halloween Special this week, to contribute to that conversation, and perhaps help offer some insights of our own on the matter.
With all the costumes, parties, candy and whatever your culture practices around this time of year, there is no doubt that it has a certain ominous atmosphere to it. Is it just an atmosphere though? Could it be that there is a curse upon the day, watermarked onto the date since the inception of the celebration? Or could it just be another Sunday this year?
In this episode, JP and John deliberate the origins, intentions, implications and consequences of this gloomy day of celebrating death; a defeated enemy.
